Serving suggestions:
Baking:
Cakes and cupcakes: Mix the instant powder into the batter for cakes or muffins. It goes particularly well with white chocolate or vanilla cakes.
Cookies: Add a spoonful of instant matcha to the dough for matcha sandwich cookies or soft matcha latte cookies with white chocolate chips.
Glazes and frostings: Stir the powder into glazes for cakes or frosting for cupcakes.
Blondies: For a modern twist on brownies, add the instant powder to the batter for blondies.
Dessert:
Pudding and panna cotta: Create a creamy matcha latte pudding or panna cotta by stirring the instant powder into the mixture.
Ice cream: Incorporate the powder into homemade ice cream with coconut milk for a fresh, creamy flavor.
Affogato: Replace espresso with a warm, thick instant matcha latte mixture. Pour it over a scoop of vanilla ice cream for a quick, sophisticated dessert.
Breakfast:
Overnight oats: Mix the powder with oats, chia seeds, milk, and sweetener in a jar and leave it in the refrigerator overnight.
Smoothies: Enhance your morning smoothie with a spoonful of instant powder. It goes well with banana, vanilla, spinach, or mango.
Pancakes: Add the powder to the pancake batter to give your pancakes a special touch and a green color.
Drinks (except latte):
Iced matcha latte (without lumps): For a particularly creamy consistency, dissolve the powder in a small amount of hot water before adding ice and cold milk.
Syrup: Make a simple syrup with instant matcha powder, which you can use to refine cocktails, lemonades, or drizzle over desserts.
Ice cubes: Freeze the finished instant latte mixture as ice cubes to cool drinks without watering them down.
Savory dishes:
Salad dressing: For a hint of umami and an exotic note, you can mix a pinch of matcha powder into vinaigrettes or other creamy sauces.
