Ayam Goreng literally means fried chicken in Indonesian. It is a very popular traditional dish in which chicken is first cooked (braised) in an aromatic spice broth and then deep-fried or fried until it is golden brown and crispy.
Preparation: Cut 500g chicken into pieces. Boil 200ml water, add Bamboe Ayam Goreng and chicken. Simmer until tender and thickened. Deep fry chicken until golden brown.
